I have an Epson Perfection 600 scanner connected to an IBM 350 466 DX2 computer via a scsi card. It worked well for over a year when I was using it with Windows 3.1. I removed the scanner and the scsi card for a year and during that time, I installed Windows 98. Then I re-attached the scanner and the scsi card. It did not run. I downloaded a TWAIN driver version 3.7.7.
When I ran PhotoImpact I selected acquire, and got the "select source" window. It showed "Perfection 600 (32 bit)" showing that the driver was installed. Then I selected acquire and image and got the error return:
"TWAIN ERROR (T009) Error enabling TWAINdata source (T020). "
Incidentally, my digital camera software works OK and I believe it uses the TWAIN driver.

I checked the Device Manager, System Devices, and saw that PCI bus has a ! sign. Under general device status, it says
"This device is disabled because the BIOS for the device did not give it any resources (code 29). You must enable the device in the BIOS. See your hardware documentation for details or contact your computer manufacturer to get an updated BIOS." I guess this has something to do with the problem . Help would be appreciated. I need the scanner.
