I am having problems with my JTS Champion 2.5GB Hard Drive. It now is
telling me to insert a boot disk because my hard drive is not bootable.
I checked the wiring and the BIOS info and everthing seems to be normal.
I just broke down and bought a quantum drive and I want to recover some
data. If I have a dead Hard Drive is there any way I can recover the
data? I have heard of places that will do that but for lots of money. I
really would rather learn how to do it myself. Does anyone have any
expertise in this area? If so, I could really use some assistance. I
have a P166MMX w\32MB Ram, vx MOBO, 2MB generic video card, 33.6 Modem.
Pretty standard stuff. So if anyone can give me the low down on data
recovery I would really appreciate it. Even a Web site that might offer
some info would be useful.

TIA
Michi Imamura
