I use only PC-100 ram on my LX motherboards. In the past I have mixed
10ns and 8ns (66 and 100) sdramms on LX boards with no problems. All my
LX and EX boards 'suggest' a memory CMOS setting during boot. If you
set
the memory to a slower setting in CMOS than the bios thinks it can
handle,
it suggests the better setting in a boot-up text message very early in
the
boot messages. Your board may be diffeent, but that's about it.

I have an Pll (266 MHz) PC with an Intel AL440LX MB and 64M Ram. I want
to
increase the ram to 128M by adding 64M PC100 ram. Could PC100 ram work
on
my MB together with my old 64M ram? (of couse, working on a lower system
bus speed 66mhz i think). Could i mix ram's with different desinged
speeds?
