Hello,
I'm running windows 95 (no A or B) with a standard two button serial
mouse,486,32mb ram.
My mouse stopped working while I was using the NOSPIN memory utility
"RAMpage.exe".It is a utility that frees up memory and runs from my task bar.
I had been using this utility about two days when my mouse stopped.
The mouse files load on boot up, and the pointer appears on the screen, but
will only move up or down in the middle of the screen. It won't move to the
left. When I move it to the right it goes off the screen and I have to reboot
to get it back to the screen.
I have done the following to solve this problem without success:
Went to device manager, mouse, properties, and it states device is working
properly.

I have deleted mouse from device manager several times and reinstalled it,
and each time, new hardware detector detects it.

Have gone to computer properties, view resources, interrupt request, where
there are hardware listed for each setting,(00,01,02,ect) up to 14. The only
setting that is not listed is 12. Also there is no mouse listed as hardware.

I have also tried another working hardrive, and the mouse does not work with
that one either.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'll also accept
e-mail.
