RAM failure is an unlikely problem to happen to a good RAM chip for only
half year of use (we have some computers which have "cheap" good RAM
running for more then 8 years without any RAM failure). So if I were
you, I will call compaq and let 'em replace the mobo. The problem seems
to be your mobo is distroying RAM. The other possibility is a really bad
luck.
