Get a USB scanner and you shouldn't have any problems with the printer. I
would go with an HP scanner. never had problems with them

Subject: [PCBUILD] SCANNER

I have a new computer-AMD Athlon XP 1800+...1.53 GHz...504 MB of RAM.....and
would like to know what scanner would be compatible with this and my printer
which is a Hewlett Packard 722C. I have an old scanner which is an Acer
620S SCSI which I can't get to work.
I have heard that some new scanners don't work or have trouble with XP.
Please let me know if there is a scanner out there that I could buy for this
computer.
I was looking at an Epson 1660 but don't know if that is compatible.
