Hi Cesar,

Sorry about your hard drive, but that might be the cause of your freezing. If
Windows was trying to read a file from a damaged sector, it might very well try
for a very long time <g>. I would try the new drive before I bought a
motherboard.

Reg Clean, Yes you can run it with Win98, I have since the early beta days. I
don't know if it is still available from Microsoft though, haven't seen it
there in a while. As I remember, they pulled it when they released Win98 and
brought out a new version, so the first Win95 version might be iffy.

I have had good luck with the Mitsumi drives, they read anything that I can
burn.
