Thanks.  Did find some colored cdrom drives at a mod site, but couldn't
find one manufacturer's name (and within the past month I've had to return
3 no-name cheapo cd drives due to excessive noise; ya get what yer pay
for).  Another site offers to paint the unit for you, which has be thinking
'bout doing that myself (hmm, wonder if painted shut drive doors are
covered under warrantly).
