the patch should work, but in my experience
windows 95 even patched with the USB update
doesn't fully support USB.
I have had mixed results,  Usually  I can get a usb scanner to work,
but my Kodak digital camera USB interface won't work
consistantly with windows 95's USB support.
Others experiences might be different than mine.

 Windows 98 seems to support USB alot better, so my suggestion
if you want reliable USB support - upgrade to 98
