I just purchased a Fire GL 1000 Pro AGP /w 8mb. Everything seems good so far
execpt the brightness. My screen is so bright that black looks medium gray.

I am running an Abit LX6 (440LX) motherboard, with an SB64 (ISA), Sportster
128K ISDN Adapter (ISA), Adaptec 2940U SCSI adapter (PCI), 3Com Fast
EitherLink XL (PCI) and an Orchid Righteous 3D (PCI).

I disconnected the Orchid Righteous 3D, which uses the pass through cable,
but there were no differances. I tried it with two differant monitors (a CTX
1785GM is the one I am using now), neither made a differance. I also
downloaded the newest drivers and the bios flash from Diamonds homepage, but
that didn't help either.

Any help you guys can give me is appreciated. Thanks,

Chris
