i am having alot of problems with internet explorer.
webpages time out.
plus, when i go to "tools" then "internet options" - i
get a message saying that the admin has disabled this
feature.

i uninstalled internet explorer 6 and went back to 5.5
and it seemed ok. i reinstalled 6 and i have the same
problem.

i ran avg anti-virus and it found something (a worm
called randon) and then crashed. i ran it a few times
after that and it has found nothing.

i got some info about anti worm scanning software. i
ran that a
few times and nothing.

i did an online anti-virus (trend) and it found
nothing.

disk cleanup, scandisk (big and small) and defrag.
all ran - no change.

any ideas?

thanks.
