I am trying to record sound from the computer. I'm having no luck at
all.

I have Windows XP
Creative Soundblaster PCI sound card

I've tried a 2nd party recorder as well as the one that comes with XP

I am not using a microphone, I want to record what is playing on the
computer.

I have sound on the computer
Can play cd music etc. etc.

I have no problem hearing sound, I just can't record it.

I've updated drivers for the sound card, checked every help file I can
think of.

Sure hope someone has some ideas. I've spent way too many hours trying
to do this and obviously need help.

Thanks,k
