Works find. I just can't shut the speaker off! Have two computers
with internal cards and even turning the volume off under devices I
still get the screeching modem exchanges!

Thanks

Charlie
In control panel look up modem and/or phone options, click on the modem tab
and look for the properties button. Under the modem tab you can uncheck the
speaker from there. I have found that you need to look for all instances of your
modem in the PC (Device Mangler, control panel) to find the advanced
properties for disabling the modem sounds. HTH
