I use same mobo and same software, my reading (650 overclock to 800 at Vcore
1.744) is 46 or 47c (*15min after boot), and upto 50 or 52c (*after heavy
CPU usage). Rome temp is around 24-30c.

What I've found on my system is, if the temp over 55c, it may crash in
3Dmark 2000, but will have no problem with OpenGL (eg. Q3, Specview).

Subject: Re: [PCBUILD] ATHLON or Thunderbird safe operating temperature?

I guess since there are so many reference points probably with where and
what is taking the temp reading, I should clarify my original question and
ask who is running an ASUS A7V with ATHLON say 750 to 1000 (900 is mine) and
if you're using the monitor utility that came with the MOBO, What is you
temperature????
Last nite she was constantly at 57 degr. C.
