If your not getting a white text on black screen with a series of boot progress messages,
but instead have a logo or graphic that temporarily appears before windows starts to load,
press the esc key to clear the logo and reveal the text messages. Either right below the ram
check counter, or on the bottom of the screen, you will see an instruction on how to
enter setup, usually by pressing del key but sometimes a function key.

This is not a specific instruction for ASUS boards, but just a blanket suggestion for
Pentium II boards. OEM'ers have been inserting graphic files that display first when
power comes on, a little self promoting symbol or logo.

Joe:
Try pressing the delete key right after the ram check.
