If your OS is XP or pro go - control panel> mouse pix> look pointer options & adjust speed.
I've been doing it on IBM's of lease.

How do I adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad on my new Asus laptop.
The curser moves all around whatever I am composing. I guess My thumbs
lightly touch it while I am typing. If it were less sensitive perhaps
this would stop. Thanks for the help. My OS is Win 7.
