Perhaps your Geforce 2 MMX440 and/or the driver you are using does not
fully support DirectX 9.1 and you need to go back to DirectX 8.x or
update the video card driver.

Your DirectX is corrupt or of an unsupported version.  Go to Microsoft
and
download the complete, latest version of DirectX and install it.

I've been trying some 3D games lately on my machine and every time
when i try to run the games i get the same following error report:-

Can someone points out to me what's wrong ?
