My only suggestion is to check with the cable provider. I know some
did not support VPN over their systems and some even configured
their systems in such a way so most VPN clients would not work. I
have Comcast at home now and do not have a problem.

Hi all,

I think its been years since I've posted. Not doing much
pcbuild'ing but I
don't think this question is too off topic.

I'll be moving to Southern Cal soon and I'll have a choice of
Digital Cable
internet or DSL.

Just wondering if anyone had any issues with VPN from cable
internet. I know
there are some issues with Satellite and VPN and DSL is pretty good
in terms
of VPN but I don't know anyone that is working tellecommuting using
Cable
modems.

Any thoughts?
