Hi Julie,

Have you run Scandisk yet? You can run it in Safe Mode or from a DOS Prompt.
That would be my first step.

I would suggest that you then go to the drive manufacturer's site and download
their diagnostic software, they all have these available and that will tell you
the real condition of the drive.

If neither of the above reveals a problem, I would then reinstall Windows. I
feel that is where you will really find the problem.
