Sharon;
A quick look at www.hp.com reveals that your motherboard
doesn't appear to have an AGP slot for the new video card.
What you need is a PCI video card..
You may have to disable the onboard video via a jumper.
Here is a link to the hp page that shows how to set the jumper
http://makeashorterlink.com/?O1B024027
The HP Pavilion 6330 uses an Asus Spax motherboard if that helps.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Video Card

Hi All,

I think I need a video card (at least that is what the kid at the store
thinks based on my description). I have an HP Pavilion 6330 with windows
98.
I bought the least expensive thing I
could find. It is a Best Data model GeForce 400 Arcade FX, 64 MB SDR
RAM, AGP 4X/2X for $49.99. So, what do you think? Will it fit? Can we do it?
