I asked whether I should buy a name-brand PC instead of building it by
myself a few days ago. Sorry that I'd to bring up similar topics on a PC I
saw in Best Buy.It's a UMAX Pentium IImmx 300MHZ for $999

Features include:
Processor: Intel Pentium II MMX 300MHz
Processor Upgrade: Single Edge Contact (S.E.C.) slot 1
L2 Cache: Level 2 512KB Pipelined Burst SRAM (166MHz/200MHz)
Memory: 64MB SDRAM
HD: 6.4GB ultra DMA HD
Audio: Yamaha 3D sound with wavetabel
Video: Matrox 8MB video card (AGP)
Drive bays: (3) 5.25", (2) 3.5"
Expasion slots: (5) PCI slots, (2) ISA slots
32X CD-ROM
56K Fax/Modem (V.90)
Keyboard
Mouse
Fast 100MHz System Bus (latest Intel 440BX Chip Set)
Dual Independent Bus Architecture
60-watt Speakers

It seems a very good deal, and I can just put in a new faster processor (up
to 500mhz) when it's cheaper. Does "Dual Independent Bus Architecture" mean
it can have duel processor? Any caveat you can find? The only problem is
it's all sold out in Best Buy here.

Thanks,

Changhsu Liu
