I bought one of the deals you are contemplating.  My DR LS-120
is made by Mitsubishi. I have another brand also made by
Mitsubishi. I have no problems with either drive.

Since a wholesale LS-120 is $94, if you get this rebate deal
for $99 or thereabouts, you have a good price and the rebate
is "found" money.

I recommend that you decide which RHD you will standardize
on. If you're happy with ZIPs, get an internal ZIP drive instead.
I regret having the Zip external with two internal LS-120s. I would
rather have a portable LS-120 instead.

The benefit of the LS-120s is a little more space on a disk, no
click death, write protect in hardware (a shutter). and the form
factor (you can use your floppy carriers and storage bins).
