Hi again, I have yet again another brain warping
problem... ;-)

I just acquired a new in the box, Biostar M7MKA mobo.
In a nutshell, Slot A (200 bus), AMD-751 North,
AMD-756 South, PC100 SDRAM, and an Award BIOS.

I am just running with my Slot Athlon 700, 128 PC133
Micron (1 stick, also tried old 32 PC66) and a Voodoo3
3000 AGP... (Also tried a GeForce3 AGP, 2meg
CirrusLogic PCI and even an old VGA ISA.)

System appears to complete POST perfectly fine:
Lights blink, keyboard flashed, single beep, video
kicks in... I then am greeted with a horrible Biostar
splash screen. On the bottom it says DEL for setup,
TAB for (real boot screen) and F9 to change boot
order... Well, thats it... No keystrokes are
registered, no errors, just ugly Biostar logo...
Tried swapping keyboards and power supplies (250 & 300
Watt Athlon certified.) Still stuck/hung/frozen...

The FAQ on the manufacturer website states that if the
BIOS is corrupt and a floppy drive is connected it
should try a failsafe boot within 2 minutes -- to
recover from a flash 'n crash. No drive activity at
all within that time frame...

If I could only see the actual post I might have a
clue... Another person posted to usenet a year ago
with the same symptoms and no follow up... If anyone
could shed some light on this I'd greatly appreciate
it!
