My Epson stylus 500 keeps uninstalling itself from Win95b,
everytime I don't use it for a while... I keep it turned off unless I use
it because it's on a transformer 220/110 that I don't want on unless
I need it. I understand that Plug and Pray may be the culprit,

The problem is not with the printer, since it prints in DOS.
I have not upgraded anything recently, so that's not the problem.
When it works it works.

It's a pain in the neck...after deleting and re-installing  the driver a
half a dozen times it works,maybe....the installation just won't
"catch"...that's the part that bothers me...it would be no problem to
merely install it again everytime I need it.

any advice, other than leaving it on all the time?
