The 845pebt has serial ata raid built into it over the 845pesv
Serial ata is the new format for hard drives that use a 4 whire
connector rather than an 80 or 40 pin ide cable.  Note: serial ata
drives also need a power connector adapter.  It is not the same as a
regular ide drive.

I believe the audio is enhanced in the pebt also.
Otherwise the features are the same.
Both boards do the hypertreading with the 3.06 p4 chip

It's really not a matter of better as it is if you intend to go to the
SATA drives.
