I'm not sure what to edit. My OS, Win98, has a c:\windows\hosts file, but
not c:\windows\lmhosts file. The two sample files are there. There is a
long list in c:\windows\hosts file, modified by SpyBlocker. I do not
think SpyBlocker is a problem, as I have tried disabling SpyBlocker, and
that didn't help. The addresses appear to be Internet addresses. I do not
have trouble going online, and do not intend to swap files over Internet.

With NetBEUI, both computers appear in Network Neighborhood, Win98,
without clicking shortcuts.

With TCP/IP protocol added, both computers appear in Network Neighborhood
on one computer, but not other, the one that starts first. After five
minutes shortcuts appear in Network Neighborhood on computer that started
second. Clicking shortcuts adds both computer icons to Network
Neighborhood.

With TCP/IP, NetBEUI removed, both computers appear in Network
Neighborhood on one computer, but not other, the one that starts first.

Until I get TCP/IP working, I am using NetBEUI.
