I was running a 233mhz K6, then I installed a 300mhz K6 into
a PA-2007, only to find it thought I was running a very fast
486.
I resorted to 'flashing' an updated BIOS
(http://www.fic.com.tw/techsupport/) only to find there was
no later version shown.
However, using 'FTP' (ftp.fic.com.tw) I found version
1.10CD119 beta. So after making sure I had my current (not
so good,
but working) BIOS saved, I 'flashed'.

On 'boot' it now identifies the chip properly, benchmarks
good - All OK so-far.....
