Hi Marilyn,

I had a similar problem with my wireless network and it turned out that a
neighbor also has a wilreless network on the same channel as mine. This
caused them to interfere with each other and act like a low signal.

Most arieless access points and routers have a way to change which channel
they operate one, usually through a web interface to a PC connected via a
cable connection. (just point your browser at the IP address of the router).

Note that you must make sure both the router/access point and the clients
are set to the same channel.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Wireless Access point keep dropping signal

I have a wireless access point attached to a PC that I built some time ago.
The wireless access point keep dropping its signal. I cannot find anything
wrong. The wireless access point is a Linksys. Any suggestions of how to
troubleshoot this problem would be appreciated.
