Hi All:

Problem:

Five open PCI slots in new system, nothing else installed.

Installing Linksys LNE100TX 10/100 Lan Card

First adapter in this new system installs with memory address conflicting with PNP Bios extension
and I/O conflict. These I have been able to manually configure.

But it also shows in Device Manager device status:
Bios for the device did not give it an IRQ. (code 29).
Enable the device in BIOS or call the system manufacturer.

I have tried the four nonshared PCI slots. Tried forcing IRQ for each slot from BIOS with unused irqs with no
success. Each remove and install seems routine but each ends with yellow mark in device manager.

And I thought the first adapter would be the easiest!

Thanks

Bill Kapelas
