Fibre Channel was invented by IBM (i think) quite awhile ago. It
uses ECL logic and Coax or Twinax cables normally. It's spec'ed at
slightly over 1Gbit/sec which produces about 100MB of thruput.
It's intended for big (as in really big) servers and mainframes.
Not! a PC product.
