The drive is Western Digital. I have visted their web site unfortunately the
dont offer any support to this effect. Any links to sites with this support
would be useful.

You need DDO software.

OnTrack, Maxtor, EZDrive all make it.

They are generally drive manufacturer specific, especially

in the free versions. So, who made the drive?
