Hi Val,
I recently installed a new hard drive. I had the same
problem as you. I went start and clicked onk explore.
I went to My Documents where favorites is located and
copied it to a cd. along with other files I wanted to
backup for reloading. After the new hard drive was
reinstalled with windows etc. I moved the favories
from the cd to Internet Explorer. I hope this works
for you too. chuck
