     Well, I'm sure several people here will disagree,
but I have found that for Pentium class machines,
especially those with slower processors and lower
amounts of RAM, win98 is definetaly a resource and CPU
hog on these types of systems. Heck I've even seen a
Celeron 333 brought to it's knees after a few months
of win98. I recommend win95B (or C) for anybody who
does not need USB or dual monitor support. I have
found it to be the most stable of the win9x releases
and the least hungry for resources. Even after
installing IE5 and active desktop, win95 still tends
to need less than win98. Just my opinion. TTYL
