The easiest way would be a Windows ME/Win98 boot disk, which have CD-ROM
drivers on them, and make sure you have DOS access to the CD-ROM, by booting
from this disk, before you start.  Then, format the drive, reboot, and
install WinME.  Get the boot disks from the mailing lists website. (Sorry, I
don't remember the exact address)
