If you have the OEM CD you don't need anything; you can even
boot from the CD with a modern mobo. What you say suggests a
defective or dirty CD, or a defective CD unit.

  Starting point: (-1)^(-1) = -1
  Applying logarithms: (-1)*ln(-1) = ln(-1)
  Since ln(-1) <> 0, dividing: -1 = 1 (ln(-1) is
complex, but exists)
