I just installed a new video card on my machine and my games and screen savers or anything that involves movement goes "bonkers". I'm using Win98SE,Celeron 600mhz processor,128mb sdram,Acorp 61via96a-via 694x chipset motherboard,Award bios set for AGP 4x enabled,AGP aperture size of 64m, and am using an Nvidia Geforce 2 mx video card. When I try to play a game, the foregrounds are alright but, the background or anything that involves depth or distance looks like flashing fireworks and such. I've been told to reduce the agp to 2x or lower but I don't know to do this. The bios only gives me the option of 4x enabled or disabled. I think I may be doing something wrong with the setup even though I installed the card with the provided cd-rom ver.7.0. Iv'e also installed DirectX ver 8.0a from microsoft but this didn't help either. Any expert ideas out there? Thanks Ed Bogert.
