I have a cable modem feeding a router which feeds three PCs. Two are running Win98SE and one Win XP Pro. I am trying to network them all to share files and printers. Two work great. The third one is a Win98 one that has all the protocols, adapters, bindings as the other Win 98 but will not work. It has the same workgroup as the other two but is not recognized.

When I click on Network Neighborhood I do get an icon that says 'Entire Network' only. If I double-click the icon I do not get the workgroup but an error msg that says 'Network not available'

Originally the two Win98s were networked before my daughter went to college. I have re-installed Client for Microsoft Windows to no avail. Now I wonder if re-installing Win98 will help any.

They all connect to the internet OK - it's just the local network on one that I can't set up. I used the XP disc to try to setup the network but it didn't work on the Win98 computer. They all have individual names also.

Thanks in advance,
Les Barnes
