  It's practically that easy.  You may have to install a driver for the
card, and you may have to fine-tune some network settings, but that's about
it.
  (There are a few options you should enable on the router to prevent the
neighbors' kids from using your cable modem connection, and those may
involve an extra tweak or two to each laptop....)
