Couple of possibilities. You could search the Win Me install disk for the file with find file and put in the C:Windows\inf folder when you find it. I can't remember if ME has msconfig with the systems file restorer function. Go to start run and type in MSCONFIG and hit enter. Then look on the tools menu for System File checker. ON Win 98 you could type SFC in and get it. Try that also. It will ask you for your disk when it finds a file missing. You may have to ask it for this one because it isn't a system file.

I have Win ME and I installed a new printer. Now when I try to print a picture a box comes up with missing apps.inf file. How do I get this file back. Thanks Randy Chadwick
