Hello,

I'am putting together a new system and keep getting a "BIOS ROM CHECKSUM
ERROR" - message continue's on to say - "detecting floppy drive A media..."
at which point nothing else happens!

System includes an Intel Celeron 400Mhz chip mounted to a Slot1 440BX ATX
Mainboard through an adapter card that snaps into the processor slot!

I have followed the Mainboard Manual in regards to jumper settings for CPU
speed, including the jumpers on the CPU adapter card. I have changed floppy
drives with a known good one as well as Floppy ribbon cables. I cannot get
into the BIOS to check things out! Gratefully accepting all suggestions!
Thanks.

Jim
