Get some 20G or 40G...
Your BIOS might have limitations that will only allow you to use 8.4G
or so... (Unless you use an overlay)
(I imagine you will be able to "see" the whole thing though...)

If the hard drive you are using now is in good condition, and the installation
is working, most hard drive manufacturers have a utility for moving the
installation to the new drive... (This seems to be one of the best kept
secrets, although I keep saying it from time to time...)
