The critical updates are the most important ones to update, as they can
affect the stability (which we all know 98 needs badly) as well as the
security of the operating system. Even with Zone alarm, a insecure operating
system will leave some open holes in which hackers can access through an
open port like port 80, 21 or 110.

The rest of the updates are optional, so just read the descriptions and only
download what you need.

Good luck,

Larry A. Kaduce

Subject: [PCBUILD] Update Win 98 SE & I.E 6.0?

I just installed my Win98SE & IE6.0 as my Web browser. I notice that now
Window Update had a lot of Update for both OS and browser. Do I really need
to update them? I had Zonealarm as my firewall and Norton Antivirus 2003.
Thank you for advices, John Loc.
