Lynn:

My experience with the Maxtor One Touch has been positive. I have used it
with both XP Pro and XP Home. Setup was flawless and easy. I use it to
store digital images and music, the latter being downloaded from P2P sites.

The computer "sees" the drive and there are simply no issues. I
subsequently bought an outboard case with power supply which can be
outfitted with any hard drive you choose for a significant saving. I am
using a USB 2 connection in both cases and I a sold on the concept.
