Joel,
I would recommend Fdisk, Format and reinstall OS, Programs, and data. I
replaced an ABIT BE-6 with an ABIT SH-6 a few months ago. I deleted all
hardware items under DEVICE Manager and let WIN 98 redetect all hardware. The
system never ran reliably or with any stability. I tried all the utilities
and tricks I knew to correct. Finally got tired of the battle and reinstalled
as described above. ALL is well now with no problems whatsover. I will never
replace a MOBO again wtihout doing the same.
