Hi All,
I had a problem the other day with a small network of three conmputers all
running Win ME. Two computers could browse the Entire Network with no
trouble but the other one could not. The network is working fine as I can
search for the other computers using Add Network Places and then "see" the
directory's. Net View shows all three computer. Removed nic from Device
Manager and then rebooted, detected and installed just fine. Could cruise
the internet just fine . Out of depespration I made the one computer that
had the problem the Browse Master and disabled the others. No trouble to
browse the Entire Network! Question is why?

Setup:
TCPIP on all for internet access through a router
IPX on all set to 802.3 and the same network number (10)
NetBui - added later out of desperation!
same workgroup name
different login names/passes
file printing and sharing on
drives shared
