Go to http://www.crucial.com/, and right in the middle of the page is where you can select your mobo make/model, and it will tell you the right type of RAM needed. I recommend Crucial, it is very good.

I am about to buy an Asus A7N8X board and a Athlon
mobile XP-M 2500+ processor for a new computer.
But how does one choose which brand of memory to
get?

I do know one should match the memory to the FSB
speed of the processor (in this case 266Mb).

Thanks in advance.
