Thanks.  I  Zeroed out the card with the file below. Data recovery
tells me nothing is there anymore. (Except 59 errors.)

I had tried the second part (a card reader format) previously on
a WinME machine since I had my doubts XP-Pro was ever going
to figure it out... My mistake may have been using WinME...

At least if it doesn't "fix", (now that the data is blanked out), I can
handle it through the factory RMA.  (I hated the thought of sending
it back with really personal stuff on there...)

I always had a suspicion it was more of an "access" thing than an
actual problem...  Years ago I learned about "access" from watching
a friend constantly trash his hard drives and re-install everything,
when later, (in hindsight), I learned all he really lost was "access"...
