This query is connected with my earlier power switching post, but I'll keep
it separate in the interest of brevity.

I seem to recall there's a formula for calculating the max load a power
supply should support - it's something like a percentage of the (5v x
amperage plus 12v x amperage).

Can someone comment on this?
