Hi Anna:

If everything is as you say it is, then you should have 2 vga ports and you 
might want to check the BIOS to see that it is booting to your card rather 
than the motherboard's onboard video.

Also, ensure that your monitor is plugged into the add-on card and then 
disable the onboard video to see what device manager reports if anything 
different.  Chances are, you have installed everything correctly.

The PNY more than likely is running Nvidia chipset -- are you sure that 
device manager is not reported your PNY's chipset (Nvidia 6600)?
