Hi Alvin,

Try wiggling on the monitor cable on the
PC and the monitor side
to see if you can reproduce the problem.
I've had this problem before,
and the culprit is usually the monitor
cable. Hope your cable isn't
permanently fixed to the monitor. That
would make it kind of hard to
replace.
